Another Reason to Avoid Comments

There is this old saying that if you feel you have to write a comment to explain what your code does, you should rather improve your code.

In the talk above, I heard another one:

A common fallacy is to assume authors of incomprehensible code will somehow be able to express themselves lucidly and clearly in comments.
